FAQ
Questions arise all the time so we figured we'd provide everyone with some insight into the most common questions they might have, find all the answers here.
I've placed an order but havent received a confirmation
Our order process is automated so you should receive a confirmation within minutes of placing your order. If you havent, somethings amiss, for example you may have put the wrong email address in when ordering. If you havent heard anything within an hour of placing an order, send us an email to sales@xqdeisgn.co.uk with details of what you ordered and we'll see if we can locate it.
Where do you ship/deliver to ?
At the moment, we only ship/deliver to the UK only. In the future, we may start selling to other regions if we can source a carrier and that is a) cheap enough and b) reliable enough so that the costs don't fly through the roof.
What items do you sell ?
At present, we are only selling wedding stationery. From Save The Dates all the way through to on-the-day items such as table numbers etc. In future, we may expand our range to include other types of invitations such as birthdays, christenings, baby showers etc, different cards such as Christmas and Birthdays, Calendars and other such items. Basically, if we can design and make it we'll probably start selling it at some point.
I've ordered on the day wedding stationary but the wedding is over a year away, will I have to chase for the items ?
For any future items ordered with individually or part of a set we track them via the details provided at the time of order. Once the date is getting closer, we will be in touch to ask when you want the items sent to you. On the offchance that you don't hear from us, pop us a quick email as a chaser and we'll get back to you.
When will I receive my order ?
For most items that are ordered such as Wedding Invitations, we will take a couple of days (max) to create your design, then await confirmation from yourselves that you are happy with it. 1 day will be required to print (depending on order quantity) and 3 days to package, despatch and deliver. For rush orders, it is possible, to get them from order to door in 3 days. Obviously, if multiple changes are required, this will prolong the overall process. For on the day items, once any information we require from yourself is received, we aim to have the items with you at least 2 weeks before the actual wedding.
Can I order a sample invite or full set ?
Absolutely. You can order a sample either as an individual item or a full set of stationery. Note though, that these will be non customised and will contain sample information only. We only customise stationery for actual orders. This is a precautionary measure to prevent people from ordering a sample then simply photocopying it or sending it somewhere else to then print a full set. All samples can be ordered from the Samples category.
I dont want physical invitations, can you do digital only ?
Yes of course. If you are going entirely paper free/digital only then we can provide digital copies of any stationary for this purpose. Digital only items are not directly available via our public shop, but, if you do require them, send us an email and we will provide you with a purchase link for digital only. To protect ourselves and our work, Digital only prices start at £10.00 (you only need to order 1). We have to sell them at a higher price due to the amount of time and effort that goes into designing them.
Do you do bespoke items ?
Yes we can. If you can't find anything in our extensive collection of invitations, please send us and email with your requirements and we'll design a custom bespoke invitation just for you. Or at least, we'll do our best, we can't get it right all the time. If you are happy with the mock up we will provide you with, you then have two choices. A) Allow us to use the design with generic details to sell as one of our designs or B) Pay a UNIQUE fee of £25 on top of your order quantity. This will ensure that we NEVER recreate or use the design in our store and your copy/version will be the only one existence.
My Venue has cancelled/gone under and I need more invitations ?
These things happen. Don't go via the normal shop and order more of the same design, send us an email and we'll provide a custom link for you to buy the exact same ones you originally purchased but at around 35% of the original cost at just 20p per invite.
What if my wedding is cancelled ?
We've very sorry that for whatever reason, you've had to cancel your entire wedding. For any items that you have already received then unfortunately we would be unable to refund you. However, if you have any on the day or outstanding items that you have not yet received (and havent already been printed/despatched), please let us know as soon as possible and we will organise a refund for anything you havent already received, such as, on the day stationery.
What card should I get for my invitations ?
This is a difficult question to answer because its subjective and down to the individual. However, in our professional opinion, there would be no point choosing Ivory card if the design is full colour with a background colour because the Ivory colour of the card would be lost, for these it would be best to choose White. For items that are double sided and full colour such as our Vintage or Newspaper designs, unless you wanted a slight textured feel to the front, hammered card would not be worth the extra money and plain White Matte would be best. The simplest answer is do you want a slight texture, then use Hammered, or, do you want it plain, flat but more punchy, then go with Matte. Ivory works best for designs with a colour scheme that matches such as Yellows, Oranges and Browns but wouldnt work well with Greens and Blues, White would be a much better choice for these.
