How Much Customisation Is Possible ?

We have over 120 designs currently available and we have tried to cater for all styles and wording that you would normally expect to find on wedding invitations and stationery.  However, every customer is different and the standard wording types that we use on our designs may not fit their exact occasion.  That's the reason that we are entirely flexible and will work with the customer to get their invite looking and more importantly, sounding exactly like they want it.

You've spent ages looking through all our designs and you've found that perfect design that you love, but, the wording doesn't quite fit with your wedding.  For exmple, many of our designs contain the words 'Along with our families' or 'The family of.....' but you may not want your invitation to follow such a formal standard.  

You might have found a design that fits your theme, for example, lets say you have a Christmas wedding and love the Allison collection but, you also love the idea of the Poem style invitation found in the Alyssa collection.  Have no fear, a simple email following your order and hey presto, we will take the wording from Alyssa and replace the wording on Allison so that you get the best of both, not only a design you love but also with your perfect wording.  

Could We Do All This At Point Of Sale ?

Yes, we could.  However, it would make the page and the whole order process even more complicated than it already is.  There are certain details that we must collect such as the participants names, dates, times, venues etc and to then ask you to provide the wording you require on top would make it a bit cumbersome.

That's the reason we made the decision to not put it in point of sale.  But, we still want you to have your say and ensure that everything is how you want it.  That's why, after you place your order, the first thing you will receive is an email from us asking if you are happy with the default wording of the invitation and if you aren't which bits do you want change. We will then alter the design for you before sending you the digital proof.

What If I Change My Mind ?  

Wording and other detials can be changed at any time before the order is sent to print.  Once printing has started then this is classed as the 'final' and an accepted order.  However, we understand that things don't always go to plan and that things can and do change.  If you do suddenly change your mind after the print run has started, send us and email as soon as possible so that we can stop the run and discuss options.  It's not impossible but, there may be a small fee that we would need to charge to cover costs in these circumstance.

What If Details Change After I've Received My Order ?

Again, nothing is impossible, we know that things happen, your venue might have cancelled, the date or time may need to change, or, something else outside of your control and totally unplanned has decided to throw you a curveball at the last minute. These things definitely do happen and we don't want to add to what is probably an extremely stressful time already.  Therefore, if something along these lines does happen, please email us quoting your original order number and we will produce you a new set of invitations.  Unfortunately, as much as we would love to do this for free, we can't.  We still have overheads to pay and materials etc but, will it cost you the list price, absolutely not.  For unforeseen circumstances that force a change of details, we will produce your replacement set of invites (with envelopes) for just 15p each (if you need 100 thats only £15).

What If, I Have A Design In Mind But I Can't Find A Match ?

So, you've been planning your wedding for ages, you already have a theme and colour scheme in mind and you have a picture in your head of what you would like your wedding invitations to look like.  You've looked through all of our designs and can't quite find the one to match your picture.  In that case, contact us via sales@xqdesign.co.uk, give us an idea of the image in your head, the style, the colours, the theme, give us a couple of days and our designer will 'have a go' at creating the perfect invitation that's in your head.  Unfortunately, we arent always miracle workers and sometimes, we just won't be able to meet your exact requirements, but hey, it's not going to cost you anything to find out other than losing a bit of time.
